Post completion of your CCIE Security written examination, you need to schedule your CCIE Security Lab exam. 3. CCIE Security Lab Exam Cost or Fee
CCIE Security lab exam fee or cost is USD 1600 for every attempt. Yes, you heard it right; if you fail to pass the lab exam in the first attempt, then you need to again pay CCIE Security lab exam fee for undertaking the examination. And this is considered to be a revised fee that has been rolled out recently by Cisco.
CCIE Security lab exam cost does not include your travel expenses, accommodation expenses, etc.
4. How to check your CCIE Security Lab Exam result?
You can easily check your CCIE Security exam results online. CCIE Security exam results are available usually within 48 hours, thus you need not wait for days to know the results. CCIE Security Lab results are either pass or fail.
However, regrettably, if you fail the examination then you would gain a failing score report. This report would showcase the major topics at which you should need to focus and study. The score report would be helping you to take your preparations in the right direction and crack the examination next time.
5. What is the current CCIE Security Lab Exam retake policy?
Cisco upgraded the CCIE lab exam retake policy in 2015 reducing the wait for retaking CCIE Security lab exam. If regrettably, you fail in the Cisco lab examination, then you have to wait for 30 days. You aren’t allowed to take any reference book in the Cisco exam hall. However, you would be allowed to access the Cisco Doc CDs also called Cisco Documentation. It would be serving as a reference guide for students which could be used in case candidates get stuck at any point.
