Use the clear statistics command to help locate the fault that occurs in the VLAN.
Clear VLAN packet statistics.
If you need to collect statistics about the traffic of a VLAN in a certain period, you must clear the original statistics of the VLAN before the statistics start, and then perform statistics on the VLAN.
note:
After the statistics of VLAN packets are cleared, the previous information cannot be restored. Be sure to confirm it carefully.
After you have cleared the statistics of VLAN packets, perform the following reset command in the user view.

The statistics of VLAN packets on the specified interface are cleared.
Monitor VLAN health
By monitoring the running status of the VLAN, you can learn about the VLAN information during the running process.

You can run the following commands in any view to check the running status of the VLAN.
Steps:
Run the display VLAN statistics command to view the statistics of VLAN packets. By default, VLAN packet statistics are disabled. If you need to run the statistic enable command in the specified VLAN view, you can enable the statistics function of the VLAN. Otherwise, the user cannot successfully view VLAN packet statistics.
Run the display VLAN statistics command to check the statistics of the packets sent and received by the BUM.
If you need to run the display VLAN statistics command to view the statistics of the discarded BUM packets, you can use the statistic discard enable command to enable the BUM packet discarding function. Otherwise, the user cannot successfully see the statistics of the packet discarded by the BUM.
The statistics of the packets sent and received on the specified port in the specified VLAN are displayed.
By default, packet statistics on a specified port in a specified VLAN are disabled. If you need to view the statistics of the packets of the specified port in the specified VLAN, you can run the statistics enable VLAN command in the interface view. Otherwise, the user cannot successfully view the statistics of the specified interface packets in the specified VLAN.
