The first time heard about Cisco when I was in university year one. At that time, I had a seminar at Taiyuan training institution and I learned what Cisco is and I felt that was really high-grade. In the second half of the semester, I joined CCNA class in Taiyuan institution in May. However, CCNA was just a back-to-back question which we just memorize the answers for the exam. I didn't really understand why I am not prohibited from recording. For a person without a foundation which not permitted to record in the class which is basically the same as reading a book without any words. I felt like I just able to assign an IP address but nothing else I learned after classes finished.
I saw the free CCNA course from SPOTO during the winter holiday. Then I attend that CCNA trial course. It was amazing that the tutor taught in a very high standard and class consultant gave me a lot of information as well.
It was so amazing after attended the trial lesson. As a result, I joined the CCIE express class of SPOTO in March 2015 and learned CCIE through Tencent remote classroom and YY online. I attended twice for both CCNA and CCNP classes. The class consultant will ask me why I didn't attend the lesson once I was absent which made me feel a little bit embarrassed and guilty. I have barely finished the Dennis’ CCIE quiz by watch again the videos and sincerely felt senior CCIE is really full of bits of knowledge. I have to thanks a lot sincerely with Dennis’ help when I was studying in CCIE stage. I forced myself to make sure I must not fail to answer what Dennis ask during the lesson and his lesson is really good with clear explanation and his lessons are full of interaction with candidates as well.
I used to finish the LAB configuration in 10 hours when I started my LAB practice since July 2015. I left messages to Dennis whenever I faced issues. Although he may not able to reply at once he must help me to solve my doubts. Moreover, the class assistance gave me a helping hand when I got questions which can’t be solved on my own during the troubleshooting practices. I have to again thank for their help.
I was living in the dormitory when I was studying my CCIE LAB . I ate bread every morning at 7:00 am after I woke up from my bed and continue my practice until afternoon 12:00 and order take away services. I usually took nap until 3:00 pm and start the LAB again until 6:00 pm then having a few hour outdoor activities until 9:00. Finally slept at mid-night 12:00 am after finish one single game of “League of Legends”
That was the most regular daily life during my university time and I was being dull for 2 months in the dormitory with my CCIE study. I lament I was not studying as hard as I prepare my open exam at my high school. I was thinking that I have no idea how much potential I would have if I don’t try for the real CCIE exam. As a result, I reserved my first CCIE exam in Beijing in September 2015.
I felt definitely unlucky in the whole 2015. I’ve got a fever caused by gastroenteritis 2 days before the exam. Moreover, I did not save my configuration in the troubleshooting section by negligent during the exam. Secondly, the machine having bug directly in the afternoon section and the proctor help to restart the server, but I did not expect my TS section marked as zero afterward due all the data lost. I was brain blanked really want to cry so I raised a ticket to Cisco and finally, I got a chance to retake the exam for free.
There was a Huawei ICT competition In October and I did not pass the preliminary competition, so I scheduled my second attend on November 10, 2015. I once again reached the Beijing exam venue on the second day of the new configuration has been announced which I failed again. I planned to give up, but I was reconciled.
I took my third exam when I was completely unprepared for H2, but I got a cold fever in during the exam and headache caused me brain blanked again. I was not able to think about how R12 default route can be sent through vpnv4 which I forgot the neighbors establishing, DMVPN was flapping and caused me to troubleshoot for half an hour finally solved. After requirements check with all phenomenon, I really not able to stay for further. However, I passed with my CCIE number finally.
