How Much Does it Cost to Take the CCNP R&S Exam?

As we all know that the Cisco Certified Network Professional is a professional-level presented by the Cisco certification. The candidates would validate that they possess the skills which are required to work with both local-area enterprise networks and wide-area enterprise networks, including the planning, verification, implementation, and troubleshooting. Exam Cost of CCNP R&S Certification (certification cost)

The CCNP R&S certification examination has 3 modules. Each module exam fee is $ 300.

CCNP ROUTE 300-101

CCNP SWITCH 300-115

CCNP TSHOOT 300-135

In order to gain this Cisco certification, the candidates would have to pass the following exam:

300-101 ROUTE Exam:

Implementing Cisco IP Routing or ROUTE 300-101 is a qualifying exam for the Cisco CCDP and CCNP certifications. The ROUTE 300-101 examination is taken in order to certify the routing skills and knowledge of successful candidates. They are certified in using advanced IP routing and addressing in implementing scalable as well as highly secure Cisco routers that could be connected to LANs, WANs, and IPv6.

300-115 SWITCH Exam:

Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks or SWITCH 300-115 Examination is a qualifying exam for the Cisco CCDP and CCNP certifications. The SWITCH 300-115 exam is going to certify the switching skills and knowledge of successful candidates. They are certified in planning, verifying and configuring the implementation of complex enterprise switching solutions that could use the Cisco Enterprise Campus Architecture.

300-135 TSHOOT:

The Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks v2 or TSHOOT 300-135 examination is a qualifying exam for the Cisco CCNP certification. The TSHOOT 300-135 exam is going to certify that the successful candidate has the skills and knowledge which would be necessary to perform and plan regular maintenance on complex enterprise routed and switched networks. Using the technological-based practices and a systematic ITIL compliant approach in order to perform network and troubleshooting.

How long is CCNP valid and do I recertify CCNP?

CCNP exams are valid for 3 years. To recertify, pass ONE of the followings before the certification expiration date:

1. Pass any current 642-XXX Professional-level or any 300-XXX Professional-level exam, or

2. Pass any current CCIE (expert level) Written Exam, or

3. Pass the current CCDE Written Exam OR current CCDE Practical Exam, or

4.Pass the Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) interview AND the CCAr board review to extend lower certifications

Achieving or recertifying any of the certifications like CCIE certificaion, CCNA CCNP Certifications and above automatically extends candidates’ active Associate and Professional level certification(s) up to the point of expiration of the last certification achieved.
