According to the PMI (Project Management Institute), the PMP (Project Management Professionals) certification examinations are going to change from July 2020. The PMI has stated that the change is being done due to important findings from their periodical research. Before we discuss it, if you wish to achieve this certification, in a single attempt, do check out the study dumps offered at the SPOTO Club.

Planning to take the PMP exam on or before 30 June 2020

Stay on your study path and don’t change anything.

Utilize the current PMP Exam Content Outline, published in 2015, as general guidelines to the exam.

A study utilizing some best study guides like the PMBOK Guide Sixth Edition

Prepare yourself to schedule your exam before April 2020 for avoiding the crazy rush, which tends to happen in the month of May and June. Since everyone would be willing to complete the exam before the change hits the market.

It also gives you two more months to commence your exam, if you have opted for the exam for your first trail in the month of April 2020, and fail to clear it in the first attempt.

Planning to take the PMP exam on or after 1 July 2020

Download the latest Exam Content Outline of the PMP Exam, June 2019 and grasp it from cover to cover so that you would be able to understand the topics that you are to be asked about on the new exam.

Keep on studying through the PMBOK Guide Sixth Edition. It would remain valid.

Study through the Agile Practice Guide as well as learn about agile approaches.

Figure out when and how you are going to have access to any additional training materials they would be providing.

Prepare yourself through updated materials for PMP exams.

Plan out your exam finally after 1 July 2020.

What other information do I need to know?

Test-accommodation service would be available at the Pearson VUE. You should ask for a separate room, a reader or recorder, or extra time.

You would be able to get a somewhat sense of demo test interface.

Find your suitable test center by clicking on ‘Find a test center’ Webpage. You would also be able to get in touch with their customer support from this page.

What’s next?

You are required to ensure that you wouldn’t be having any social occasions, personal commitments, travel days and so on while creating this plan:

Plan for 2 rounds of the end-to-end study.

You might incur about 100 hrs of study time for the first round. On the basis of how many hours you would be able to dedicate on each day, you are going to get roughly how many days you need.

Now for the second round, adding half the number of days to the first round.

Then adjoin a week of buffer time.

Later add a week for ‘golden week prep‘. If possible you would be able to apply for leave for this week so you can revise without having any interruption as well as de-risk any work development hijacking their crucial prep time.

Now, look out the date on the calendar based on this number as you have are going to have your exam date. Assuming this is on or after 1 August, scheduling at Pearson VUE site. If it would be earlier, you would be able to schedule it at Prometric.

So, now you have gone through each and everything which is required to know regarding the changes which are going to hit the PMP Certification. If you wish to have more help regarding the exam, check out the study courses which are being offered at the SPOTO Club.
