Provisionally passed Nov. 11, 2019
Timeline:
In 2018, I began to consider getting CISSP certification. I checked the certificate requirements, books, and other people’s trips. Wait, wait.
I was intimidated by the size of the book, yes, thousands of pages of reading were not pleasant. My original plan was to carry out research during maternity leave, yes, it was a big mistake, underestimated the responsibility of newborn babies, and could not learn.
After returning to take the exam in 2019, I first looked at Kelly H’s Cypress course and then read the seventh edition of Sybex (starting in 2018) and Shon Harris CISSP videos. I’m a very bad reader, and I’m browsing and getting bored, that’s why I can’t keep a lot of information, but by reading this book and watching the video, the CISSP’s mind starts to build and thus gets a new and better job, so even if you don’t pass the exam, You must also have learned some of the "Don’t give up" in this study
New jobs, lots of jobs, falling off the wagon and stopping studying. On May 30, I texted my husband at work and said," Honey, get ready for a bad wife without a wife, a bad mother, and I’ll be busy studying for the CISSP exam. "He said," You see! "When I had to achieve this goal, I opened the VUE website and arranged the test and payment time, and then started a panic. May 30th till the date of the exam July 11th:
1- Got SNT website membership
2- Read the Memory Palace “I am not reading that Sybex freaking book again, once is more than enough for a bad reader like me LOL”
3- Bought SPOTO “If you are doing this one, read the explanation more than worrying about the score”
4- Bought Kaplan they are the same value as SPOTO “Don’t do the same practice questions more than once, you will be fooling yourself”
5- Telegram group to discuss difficult questions and point of views, and to have some social interaction “I was isolated without any social activity during this month.
6- My weak domain was telecommunication Luke Ahmed's videos were the best for this, so research more about foreign concepts you find in the practice tests
7- A week before the exam stopped doing practice questions, muted telegram group LOL.
8- Read 11th-hour book “This time without missing any word, nope not a single word”
9- Kelly H Cybrary again “Not missing any of her words”
The exam:
I don’t know how many problems I have, but it’s about 110 problems in about 120 minutes because when I answer Q100, I look at the screen and the rest is 62 minutes, but the test is still going on, and then suddenly stops.
No problem can be found anywhere, but the style is similar to the exercise problem "The most, the best, the highest" and there are 4 answers to choose from. I felt very heavy during the exam, but I used the following tips that might make me pass the exam, so please don’t give up, you may think you will fail, but not.
SPOTO, the exam is very smart, and it’s constantly asking me about the areas I’ve never learned, so make sure you don’t leave the weak area.
Tips:
1-exercises are to point out that your weak areas do not score higher, I scored the highest in SPOTO and KAPLAN is 68 "I did not do the same exercises twice, remember!"
2-If you are lost and want to know how to pass the exam, keep everything you are doing now, watch these videos, and adjust your mind and study plan to achieve the following:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEjAjr00o5VmNn5r9dIOY5g
3-Have you seen these videos? Now, if the field is your weakness, you won’t be a network engineer in a month, so please study the general concepts, but learn them all over, don’t skip any fields, they are my weakness. They kept asking me questions.
4- In addition, exercises can help you point out your weaknesses. If the exam is only for a week and you still don’t know your weaknesses, that’s the problem. Don’t worry about your grades!
5- What these two answers eliminate immediately is real, it’s the only thing that makes me smile during the exam, yes, you’ll read the words of the other CISSP: "you can easily eliminate two answers at the beginning, and then the other two are good, but one is better than the other." I was like, "Oh, my God, this thing is so !"
6- If you don’t have the right answer to the four classic questions, well understand them, if you don’t have the right answer, yes, it’s a secret, it’s not a secret. If I’m ISC2, I’ll take these classics very much.7- 11th hours was my last read and Kelly H Cybrary my last view a few days before the exam, IT’S WORTH IT
