I saw a lot of people want to test CCIE, but after reading a lot of articles, I found that many people are unclear about CCIE exams and other situations, and even have many mistakes. I want to talk about my views here, and share with me my CCIE certification written test experience with you.
CCIE stands for Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert. Since you dare to call the expert, the level should not below. (Of course, the MCSX also dares to say that it is an expert, but unfortunately, more and fresher are getting it in a month or two, and they failed.) Cisco's exams have always been more rigorous (of course, now the CCNA series, like the MCSX, is estimated to be rampant).
The number of CCIEs, because there may be several people every day (the world), is very uncertain. According to the basic growth situation and what I understand. There should be more than ten thousand people in the world. The number of CCIEs in China should have exceeded several thousand. It is said that Cisco wants to limit the number of CCIEs. Although it is hearsay, it seems that there are such signs from the changes in the examination. Here is a very important concept: CCIE's Active and Deactive states. The CCIE number is constantly growing. The number of people mentioned above is the total number of people passing. However, in order to ensure the quality of CCIE, every two years, CCIE must re-authenticate. Otherwise, you are still CCIE (the number is still reserved), but your status is deactiv. In addition to reputation, you can not get other active privileges.

If you want to take the exam in China, you can only test Routing & Switching. Now the world's CCIE 99.9% is Routing & Switching. The other two have just opened soon.

It's hard to say that because it's a computer problem, it may be simple to ask questions that are difficult. However, if you really want to pass the CCIE exam, then please carefully look at each part. If you have a chance to report, you may be confused, but you will have to take a few more exams.
There is another point: the CCIE exam must first test the written test, then test the experiment.
The CCIE written test is 3 hours and 100 objective questions. There are about 30-40% more choices. The topic range is very wide (although it is impossible to cover the content on the Cisco homepage, it is almost the same). The score is 70 points (last year also 65 points, you see, Cisco is I don't want to limit the number of CCIEs, the content has increased, and the passing score has become higher.) What should you do next when you have finished the written test? First of all, if you want to send money to Cisco, then you can book your lab exam time. You need to have a CCO account (so people who usually want to test CCIE must be a Cisco agent, otherwise, there is a contract number you can't get. Of course I may be ignorant, there are exceptions.) The experimental environment of the CCIE standard requires five 25xx routers.
One Cisco 4xxx series, at least 4 serials, two ethernet ports. (Do FR backbone and Ethernet Backbone),
ISDN or ISDN simulator, Of course, your 25xx should have an ISDN port, at least two. Each IOS must be configured with enterprise11.2 or higher.
Token Ring has two hubs. So your 25XX must have at least two token ring ports. One to eight asynchronous cables.

One Catalyst 5000 Series Switch (for Vlan and Switch Part exercises)
You need to add more ATM parts to your environment. To do this, you need to add two more series of Cisco 3600 routers. Also, be familiar with the ATM configuration on the Lightstream 1010 and Catalyst 5000, and the passing score remains the same.
Ok, let's say you are blessed with oil or have a strong backing. You have already set up this environment. CCIE training is the practice of asceticism. Ok, how to practice, and prepare for the exam, it will not be shown. Work hard on your own. I finally waited for the time to enter the lab!
CCIE's lab exam is divided into two parts, for a total of two days. If one day you don't meet the requirements, you can't continue the exam (hehe, sometimes you haven't eased it, you will fail) From 9:30 am to 11:45 am 1:45 to 5:30 am, mainly related to IP, the total score is 40 points. If you lose 15 points or more, you can't test the next day. General CCIE training If you lose more than 5 points on the first day, it is dangerous. (Of course, there are many exceptions.) If you are lucky enough to pass the first day of the exam (you will not know if you have the first day in the lab the next morning). Sleeping badly at night) You entered the next morning's exam the next morning from 9:00 to 12:00 is mainly a multi-protocol thing. The total score is 35 points. Plus the score on the first day is less than 55, you will fail.
If you are lucky enough to pass the exam the next morning, you will enter the third part of the exam from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the content is troubleshooting.
