The general IDC equipment room is divided into a single-line computer room, a two-line computer room, and a BGP computer room. Today, the BGP room network access refers to the BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) protocol mainly used for interconnection between Internet ASs (autonomous systems), BGP. The main function is to control the propagation of routes and select the best route to ensure high-speed access for Netcom and telecom users.

Advantages of the BGP room:

To a certain extent, the BGP room solves the problem of mutual communication between users and users, improves the access speed of users, and realizes the effect of single-IP dual-line using BGP protocol. The solution is to directly map the IP of one line to another line IP through the BGP protocol. 3. The bad place is that the BGP line is expensive. The same machine and bandwidth are much higher than the single line. The larger the bandwidth, the larger the ratio. Generally, companies with more than Gigabit bandwidth do not use BGP multi-line. Then there is no single line sufficient for the BGP multi-line machine room to export bandwidth. One attack can catch up, and large traffic such as a 20G network will lose packets.
