Prerequisites:

You need to gain a valid CCNA Collaboration certification before gaining the CCNP Collaboration Certification or any Cisco CCIE/CCDE certification can act as a prerequisite.

Note: The Candidates who are having a valid CCIE Collaboration or CCIE Voice certification will only be required just to take and pass the 300-075 CIPTV2 exam in order to earn the certification.

CCNP Collaboration Training:

In order to be prepared for the CCNP Collaboration, the candidates are required to go through the following Cisco-approved training.

Implementing Cisco IP Telephony & Video, Part 1 or CIPTV1 training:

This exam is going to tests the knowledge of candidates of implementing a Cisco Unified Collaboration solution in a single site environment. The Candidates would need to show that they can configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unified Border Element, and implement gateways and build dial plans to place on-net and off-net video and voice calls.

Implementing Cisco IP Telephony & Video, Part 2 or CIPTV2 training:

This exam is going to tests the candidate's knowledge of Cisco Unified Collaboration solutions in a multi-site environment. They would need to be able to describe the role of Cisco Video Communication Server or VCS Control and the Cisco Expressway Series and how they are going to interact with Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

Troubleshooting Cisco IP Telephony & Video or COLLAB training:

This exam would be going to assess a candidate's skills and knowledge to be able to troubleshoot a Cisco Unified Collaboration solution. The exam is also going to covers the troubleshooting methodology, resources, triage, and tools.

Implementing Cisco Collaboration Applications or CAPPS training:

This exam would be testing the candidates on the integration options of Cisco Unified IM and Presence, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unity Express, Cisco Prime Collaboration, and Cisco TelePresence Management Suite in a Cisco Unified Collaboration solution.

CCNP Collaboration Exam:

In order to earn this Cisco certification, the candidates are needed to pass the following exams:

300-070 CIPTV1 exam:

The Implementing Cisco IP Telephony and Video, Part 1 or 300-070 IPTV exam are going to tests a candidate's of skills and knowledge to implement Cisco Unified Communications Manager, CUBE, and audio and video conferences in a single-site video and voice network.

300-075 CIPTV2 exam:

The Implementing Cisco IP Telephony and Video, Part 2 or 300-075 CIPTV2 exam are going to tests a candidate's skills and knowledge to implement Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco VCS-C, as well as Cisco Expressway series in a multisite video and voice network.

300-080 COLLAB

The Troubleshooting Cisco IP Telephony and Video or 300-080 COLLAB exam are going to tests a candidate's ability and knowledge to troubleshoot issues in a video and voice network that would include the Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco VCS-C, as well as Cisco Expressway series.

300-085 CAPPS

The Implementing Cisco Collaboration Applications or 300-085 CAPPS exam is associated with the CCNA Collaboration certification.
