Though you don’t have to learn about the CCNP R&S Certification, if you want to pursue the CCNP Security, but you should have the knowledge of Routing and Switching.

So, in my opinion, you have to follow the certification, in the following order: CCNA R&S, CCNP R&S, CCNA Security and then finally CCNP Security. You don’t even need to pass your CCNP Security, but you will be required to obtain the knowledge of the subject will do the wonders and you will see the fast promotions or chances to grow within your organization or other. So finally you need to spend the time to gain this certification, and lastly, you could aim for the CCIE Security Certification, surely after the study of years and thus after the last certification, you are going to observe the changes in your life. All the best!
