  My Experience of Learning CCIE

. When I was in high school in 2003, I went to the high school and went to the bookstore. I bought this Cisco tutorial and came back to see it. Although I didn’t understand it, I knew that there was a network other than the computer that played the game. Then I went to get the CCNA tutorial in English. I looked at the classroom and felt a little loaded.

After reading, I went to test NA. I went to college to study computer. When I went to school and bought a computer dormitory for a month, I first found a router-TPLink 5-port routing exchange hybrid. But still very excited, in addition to the dormitory used to share the Internet, I bought three more. When everyone sleeps at night, I open all of their computers to the network. Later, I learned that there is still something like Router OS. The function is too powerful. I broke the computer and virtualized 8 x86 runs. When I was a sophomore, I decided to take IE, but I didn't have the money, I also looked down on the training institutions, so I taught myself. I bought dozens of books from Cisco Press, turned it around every day, and experimented with Dynamics (now called GNS).

After one year of cultivation, I have made great achievements. After going home for the summer vacation, I rubbed my parents for two months and finally promised to give me money to take the test. but. During the study, I met someone who was trained at the Wolf Lab in Shanghai. Just passing through Shanghai before the start of school, I am going to see him. Going is not comfortable.

The first time I knew that there was a  "version", I was giving you the test questions directly. I think they went to the exam after half a year of training. The foundation is completely unsolid, half a bottle of water. But it doesn't matter, the questions and answers are given to you, and you can go and get used to it. The 8-hour exam, they get it in an hour and a half. There was no troubleshooting at the time. After I came back, I didn’t think I could, I couldn’t take the money to play with them. It’s boring, I didn’t take it. From the sophomore year, I started programming, writing sockets, writing OS, writing VM, and graduating design using erlang to distribute.

Give full play to my understanding of the network's specialties, write an 802.1x authentication client (Ruijie), write a Radius server, bind my distributed computing node to the client, and contribute computing resources if I want to authenticate the Internet (I didn't think of it at the time) Go to mine). Because I am familiar with the network, the sophomore is mixed into the school network center. I have the authority for all the core switches in the school.

A machine room, a hundred machines, all installed, give me count, no matter how good it is, even a large number. It is endless. Now working for 10 years, I have been doing research and development. I have worked on the top few network equipment manufacturing sites. BAT has also entered and exited. Entrepreneurship + finished, and now I continue to engage in R&D and architecture in financial platform companies. But CCIE has always been a heart disease. Although it is completely useless to me, I can't even use the senior title of network planner I took 100 to get subsidies from the Shenzhen government. But I need him. With it, my life can be complete, instead of always being in school because the poor 10,000 exam fees are not risky and regret, and now the 10,000 is a fart. So I decided to take a 2w report and then let the company reimburse me.

Old, not as energetic as when I was young, training is quite suitable for me. Finally, I will talk about the impact of CCIE's learning process as a senior system architect (serious), and I have done network equipment development. But no matter where I am, I find that no one knows the Internet. R&D personnel don't understand network protocols, and architects don't understand network architecture. I interviewed the R&D architect. If you can explain how to design a load balancing system with BGP, GRE, and MPLS, I am willing to invite me to lead. There must be such people, but I have never seen them.

The R&D staff who interviewed 8-10 years of experience can give the highest level if they can explain Long-Fat Tunnel and optimization. HTTP is long, and UDP TCP is not known. In addition, why should IE learn early? I took NA in high school, but I didn't understand it, but when I went to college, I first saw the TPLink configuration interface, and then did a few small experiments, and I suddenly me . OSI seven layers, CIDR, Netmask, MAC Table, all of a sudden know that it is dry. This is also the case in later IE learning. Although I am going to take the exam, I don't know where to go when I think I am higher than the level of the students in the training institution.

But in essence, I know that I will only be a fur, because there is no experience. However, when I gave up these three or five years, I occasionally saw some articles and shared them. I suddenly remembered it. This is not the case. It turns out that. The most direct result is that wherever I go, others think that I am a network expert. In fact, I have never done any work on the Internet. It’s all that is seen online and heard outside. It doesn't matter, I understand it. Why is this so? Of course, it is not that I have a good relationship (modest and modest). It is very important that the network-related knowledge system is fragmented and abstract. You can't study the ducks and you need to learn and comprehend for a long time. Slowly, you know more and more, the knowledge points distributed in the brain are all connected, and then you will find that they are common and can be abstracted. This is a complete integration.
