Would You Be Able to Clear CISSP Without Experience?
images

YES, you would be able to clear the CISSP without experience!

If you would be having 2 years of experience in networking, you could take the CISSP exam.

If you would have just graduated from college with a Master's degree, you could take the CISSP exam.

If you would be functioning at a good and reputed company such as Mercedes Benz assembly factory situated in Alabama, you could take the CISSP exam.

All the above examples would be actual situations of people who have overcome great odds as well as hardships to clear the CISSP exam and break into the security industry.

Though, it is not recommended to take the exam without the required experience. It is considered to be doable, but it is never recommended.

If you would be having zero security experience, the CISSP exam is going to be extremely difficult, and you would have to study for months and months just to grasp the foundational concepts. This would be the reason that it is suggested that you would be having the quite indispensable experience of 5 years of undeviating hands-on security before attempting the exam. So, if you wish to gain the CISSP certification, you should check out the courses, which you will find at the SPOTO Club.

I have worked with firewalls and also as a Security Operations Center, which helped me immensely during the actual exam. I was flabbergasted at how much the exam didn’t evaluate to anything which I have read in the books, but relied on what I experienced as a security professional.

Some would be having 10 years and even 20 years of experience in the security industry, and who are still struggling to pass the exam the first, second, or even the third time. However every person is considered to be of different minds, only you would be able to test yourself to see what you would be ended off and if you have what it takes to become a CISSP.

So what happens if you have cleared the exam without any experience?

Let's first answer what happens if you exceed the exam and if you would already be having the 5 years of security experience. After clearing, you get an email from the ISC2 congratulating you on your colossal accomplishment. Then you would have to complete the endorsement process.

After the submission of all the necessary documents, the ISC2 will look at everything, and then in a couple of weeks, you'll obtain a package in the mail stating you are now legitimately designated a CISSP. You could start putting those letters after your name. It would be considered a great feeling.

Now, if you would have completed the exam and don’t have the experience of your path is a little different. Thus, it would be still the same exam. Whether you are going to have experience or not, you would be able to take the same exam. And you would also have to pay the annual membership dues as well as provide CPE credits. The only difference is that you would be having up to 6 years to gain your five years of the required experience.

That's it. You could now take the CISSP exam without any experience, while it wouldn’t be recommended, and then you would have 6 years to complete your 5 years of industry experience. After that, you would authoritatively have to submit your endorsement if you wish to become an official CISSP, and then you would be able to begin utilizing those letters after your name. Without becoming an official CISSP, you couldn’t use the CISSP designation or the logos of the ISC2.

I hope that would be clarifying any questions you might have had about the exam as well as the experience requirement. So, if you wish to gain the CISSP Certification, you should acquire the study dumps, which are offered at the SPOTO Club.
