Introducing the new CCIE Enterprise Wireless certification

Achieving CCIE Enterprise Wireless certification would be proving that you have acquired the skills with complex enterprise wireless solutions. If you wish to earn CCIE Enterprise Wireless certification, you would be required to clear two exams: a qualifying exam that would be covering the core enterprise technologies, as well as a hands-on lab exam that would be covering enterprise wireless networks through entire network lifecycle, from deploying and designing to operating and operating optimizing. If you wish to acquire the new CCIE Certifications, you should check out the training courses, provided by the SPOTO Club.

CCIE Enterprise Wireless Lab Overview

The first date to test the new CCIE Wireless Lab exam would be February 24, 2023. The 8 hours practical exam would be assessing the candidate's skills through the entire network lifecycle of designing, operating, deploying and optimizing complex network scenarios.

The CCIE Enterprise Wireless Lab exam would be consisting of 2 modules that would be fixed in time and would be delivered in a fixed sequence:

Module 1: Design (3 hours)

Module 2: Deploying, Operating, and Optimizing (5 hours)

Automation as well as Network Programmability skills, as per Exam Topics, are considered to be an integral part of both modules.

Module 1: Design (3 hours)

The goal of this module would be to measure the ability to create, analyzing, validating and optimizing network designs, which would be the base for all deployment activities.

Candidates would be required to:

·  Understand the capabilities of various technologies, solutions as well as services.

·  Translate the requirements of the customer into solutions.

·  Assess readiness for supporting the proposed solutions.

The module is considered to be scenario-based, without access to any devices. Candidates would be provided with a set of documentation which would be required to distinguish before answering web-based items.

Examples of documentation would be including the email threads, network topology diagrams, high-level design, customer requirements, and restrictions, etc. Examples of web-based items would be including Drag-and-Drop, Multiple-Choice-Multiple-Answer, Multiple-Choice-Single-Answer, Dropdown items, etc.

During this module backward navigation would be disabled. As such, candidates won’t be having full visibility on all questions within this module. Points value(s) would be associated with each item that isn’t displayed within this module.

Module 2: Deploying, Operating, and Optimizing (5 hours)

In this module, candidates are going to be deploying, operating and optimizing network technologies as well as solutions.

Deploy: Candidates would be building the network according to the design specifications, customer requirements as well as restrictions. All steps which would be required for a successful network implementation would be covered, which also includes the configuration, integration and troubleshooting the commissioning of technologies as well as solutions, as per Exam Topics.

Operate and Optimize: Candidates would be operating and optimizing the network technologies as well as solutions. This would be including the network performance, monitoring network health, configure the network to improve service quality, reducing disruptions, reduce operating costs, mitigating outages, as well as maintaining high availability, security, and reliability, as well as diagnosing potential issues as well as adjusting configurations to align to changing goals of businesses and/or technical requirements.

This module would be providing a setup that is considered to be very close to an actual production network environment and would be consisting of both hands-on (device access) and web-based items. Where possible, a virtualized lab environment would be utilized in this module.

During this module backward navigation would be enabled.

Now, if you wish to have the CCIE Enterprise Wireless Lab in a single attempt, you should gain the training courses which are being offered at the SPOTO Club.
