The new Cisco Advanced Engineer Level Enterprise certification adds automation and programmability to the old Routing and Switching and is still based on Routing and Switching. To earn the CCNP certification, we need to pass two exams: the core exam and an optional exam. The Core Exam: Implementing and Operating Cisco Enterprise Networking Core Technologies (ENCOR 350-401) focuses on your knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including dual-stack (IPv4 and IPv6) architectures, virtualization, infrastructure, network assurance, security, and automation.Remarks: The Core Exam also serves as the qualifying exam for the CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure and CCIE Enterprise Wireless certifications. Optional exams: Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (ENARSI 300-410) Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions (ENSDWI 300-415) Designing Cisco Enterprise Networks (ENSLD 300-420) Designing Cisco Enterprise Wireless Networks (ENWLSD 300-425) Implementing Cisco Enterprise Wireless Networks (ENWLSI 300- 430) Automating and Programming Cisco Enterprise Solutions (ENAUTO 300-435) The main focus here is on the core exam: Implementing and Operating Cisco Enterprise Networking Core Technologies (ENCOR 350-401) and the optional exam: Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (ENARSI 300-410). The format of both exams is currently dominated by single choice, multiple choice and drag-and-drop questions.
