AWS CERTIFICATIONS: WHAT ARE THEY? WHY DO THEY MATTER?
Whether becoming an engineer, DevOps, data analyst, or specialty engineering consultant is your ultimate objective, earning an AWS certification can help you get started on that route. We'll examine what AWS certifications you may add to your core credentials to create a successful and long-lasting IT career.
The four levels of Foundational, Associate, Professional, and Specialty AWS certificates now offer 12 different credentials.
Like other IT certifications, AWS certificates attest to your understanding of a particular skill set required for the AWS Cloud. Although employers search for AWS qualifications, mainly if they are an AWS Partner, they cannot replace practical experience. These engineering firms aim to have a specific proportion of AWS Professional and Specialty personnel certified.
Professionals in cloud computing value AWS credentials because they can help them get employment and gain more practical experience. You may advance into more valuable roles as your career develops and level up on AWS certifications and other IT qualifications.
Businesses depend more on AWS Cloud services and cloud computing in general. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that between 2020 and 2030, employment in computing and information technology will expand by 13%, a rate significantly higher than that of most other occupations in the country. Many companies are looking for skilled applicants for these engineering opportunities, including practically every Fortune 500 company.
