New Cisco DevNet Certification
At a high level, Cisco would have streamlined the way the tracks work within its four main layers of certification: associate, specialist, professional, as well as expert. You could pursue engineering and/or software track for each level. At this time, the CCENT, CCDE, and CCAr certifications would be remaining as they would be today. If you wish to gain any of the Cisco Certification, you should gain the study dumps offered by the SPOTO Club to achieve success at your first trial.

Dwelling into these changes, here are some important things to consider:

  1. DevNet track
The company would have introduced the Cisco DevNet track, which would be focusing on coding, application development, automation on Cisco platforms, as well as what developers would be required to know about network fundamentals. For example, the DevNet Associate would be covering the understanding and utilization of APIs, software development as well as design, infrastructure and automation, application deployment and security, and network fundamentals.
  2. Consolidating associate-level training and certification
The Cisco Certified Network Associate or shortly known as CCNA certification would be having no longer different tracks. Multiple elements such as wireless, security, routing and switching, and concepts of network automation are covered widely within a single exam. The updated and consolidated CCNA would be covering the entry-level networking skills across technologies, like the basic network access, IP fundamentals, security fundamental skills, IP connectivity, and the basics of automation as well as network programmability.
  3. CCNP options include concentration exams
The Cisco Certified Network Professional or shortly known as CCNP is considered to be comprised of two exams. There would be a core exam in one of five technology tracks which would be enterprise, security, service provider, collaboration, or data center and one concentration exam of the candidate’s choosing in a similar technology track.
  4. DevNet options include concentration exams
Cisco Certified DevNet Professionals would be taking the DevNet core exam as well as one concentration exam of their choosing in the DevNet technology track, which would be also including automation as well as programmability concentration in the five network engineer tracks. Concentrations would be focused on automation across enterprise, security, service provider, collaboration, or data center areas and topics like the WebEx, IoT, and DevOps.
  5. Concentration exams would be recognized with a specialist certification
The specialist certification would be covering a specific technology topic. There would be no limit to the number of specialist badges you could achieve. You could easily earn a specialist certification by clearing any written, proctored exam in the certification portfolio, with the exemption of associate-level exams.
  6. CCIE would be requiring one core exam and one lab exam
The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert or shortly known as CCIE level would be comprised of first a technology core exam, which is going to be focused on enterprise, service provider, security, collaboration, or data center and then one lab exam from the same technological track. The enterprise technology track would be initially including the two lab-exam options: enterprise infrastructure as well as enterprise wireless. The same written exam would be serving as the core exam for CCNP certification as well as CCIE certification.
  7. No CCNA-certification prerequisite for CCNP certifications
There would be no prerequisite to start earning an associate, specialist, professional, or expert-level certification so that the candidates could begin at the level they choose.
  8. Cisco Certified DevNet Expert certification
Cisco would be planning to introduce a DevNet Expert level certification in the distant future.
  9. CCIE Lifetime Emeritus benefit
A CCIE or CCIE Emeritus who would be maintaining their active or Emeritus status for 20 consecutive years would be having the option of choosing a lifetime Emeritus status with no annual fee.

Now that you have known about all the changes in Cisco Certification, and if you wish to acquire it, you should opt for the training courses offered at the SPOTO Club.
