Experience requirement:
After clearing the exam, the final step would be to apply for the certification. Three years of IS auditing, controlling or security experience, or two years of IS auditing, controlling or security experience, and a whole year of a non-IS audit or IS the experience of two years experience as a university instructor, full time.
Maintaining the certification:

Devotion to the professional code of ethics: CISA holders would be required to agree to the professional code of ethics to guide their personal and professional conduct.
