Experience requirement:
After clearing the exam, the final step would be to apply for the certification. The candidates would be required to have a minimum of five years of professional experience in IS auditing, controlling, or security. Fortunately, waivers to experience would be available. Three years of IS auditing, controlling or security experience, or two years of IS auditing, controlling or security experience, and a whole year of a non-IS audit or IS the experience of two years experience as a university instructor, full time.
Maintaining the certification:

Devotion to the professional code of ethics: CISA holders would be required to agree to the professional code of ethics to guide their personal and professional conduct.
