When does the PMP exam change in 2021?

PMI announced that The new PMP® exam will take effect on January 2, 2021. This means PMP certification exam takers will sit for the new PMP exam content outline as of the 2nd of Jan 2021. PMI announced the PMBOK^® 7th Edition exposure draft in January 2020 for the review of the project management community. PMBOK 7th Edition (pmbok guide seventh edition) will be released on the 1st of August, 2021.

PMI also clarifies that about half of the exams will represent predictive project management methods, and the other half will define agile or hybrid methods. The new PMP certification exam will focus on agile or hybrid approaches.
