Reset via Web GUI (CLI Console Widget)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you can still reach the web admin, use the built-in CLI console:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Log In<\/strong> to the web GUI: <code>https:\/\/&lt;firewall-ip><\/code>.<\/li><li>Go to <strong>Dashboard \u2192 Status<\/strong>, click <strong>+ Widget<\/strong>, and add <strong>CLI Console<\/strong>.<\/li><li>In the console pane, type: <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code class=\"\">execute factoryreset\r<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Confirm and wait for reboot.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The web-based console is simply a terminal to the same CLI commands above.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Physical-Button_Reset_Low-End_Models\"><\/span>4. Physical-Button Reset (Low-End Models)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many FortiGate 30E\/40F\/60E\/100F devices include a small <strong>RESET<\/strong> pinhole on the back.
